Having the experience of high speeds in motorsports we must be aware of the strength and power that is needed. The ailerons produce drag as they

increases the speed of the single-seaters.

All wings flex as it is impossible at those speeds to achieve full stiffness. The FIA It is in charge of doing tests to test the flexibility of the ailerons and what load they can carry. Everyone would love it if the wings could have flexible wings to manage drag and reduce it in fast corners.

We know that at certain tracks teams use very thin wings to reduce drag, just like at other tracks they need full wings. Last year Mercedes noticed that at the Barcelona circuit the Red Bull rear wing leaned at high speeds.
